I know Pontins isnt everyones come of tea, but if you lived close enough you could book but not stay there, just get your passes and have the facilities and entertainment for free and go home to sleep each night.

I cant comment on Camber sands or Southport but we also went earlier in the year on the £25 offer to Brean. My kids had a brilliant time. As berylc said the accomidation was basic but clean. We staff were excellent and the entertainment was faultless. If Brean Sands was part of the offer I would not hesitate to return again!

"We staff were excellent" Is this a freudient slip? LOL:rotfl:
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

So glad you enjoyed it, got a bit worried with some of the comments. I bet it was great for the kids.

thanks op,got back from southport before, kids had a great time, and the apartment was actually cleaner this time than what it was when we paid for a holiday there a few months ago lol. kids had a fun time, and got free prezzies off father christmas the eldest got a £5 voucher to spend at the shop which was great considering the holiday was free! middle child got a game, and the youngest got a wooden clock.

pontins is hit and miss,if you know what to expect then a quick clean is all it requires, and if your not happy just ask to be moved,i dunno what some people expoect when theyre getting a freebie!!!! i shook my head in digust as one lady with a liverpoolian accent had the cheeck to complain about a lad at the burger bar not smiling!!! she actually complained about him, dunno what she was after but she took the oppertunity to complain about anything and everything! and yes she was on a free holiday! i was throughly disgusted! wouldnt mind she swore at him!

but anyhow thanks op just to let you know we all had a fab time all it cost me was £8 in electric.which is quite unlucky cause most of the meters in them aparrtments are usually bent! lmao
    It`s getting to the point
  • We have not long got back from Southport. We queued for our keys and was told that we have a free upgrade to club class. This included free electric. Having read all the reviews i was very surprised by how clean the room was. We have had a great time and will be going back again.
The entertainment was spot on ,the bar and food prices really good. Nothing was too much trouble .
Well done Pontins Southport !! :T
