  • Well in money news, I've had to decimate the MOF in order to get petrol :( It now stands at a very sad looking £10-something, and £37-somthing in the current account to last seven days, I don't think I'm going to make it :(

I did leave myself quite short though by fully paying off the OD last month, this should be the very last time I'll have to dip in. Correction - this WILL be the very last time!

I've been quite productive on the work front today, I've lost my voice so there's been no chatting! I feel OK though so have been contemplating a little list for this evening:

    - Unpack case from Edinburgh (:o)
    - Washing
    - Make another lavender cat
    - Make birthday card
    - 2 x Dooyoos
    - Watch My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding whilst painting my nails with a face mask on :D

Ooh, I'm hungry, is it hometime yet???

Fantastic plan! I may join you!

Sorry about the MOF! :( I have faith that you'll make it to payday without going into the red though, you can do it!

I have to find £100 to get some vouchers for my Mum's birthday, £50 is from my brother which he gave me about 2 weeks ago but I've been dipping into it instead of getting cash out my bank so now I'm scuppered! I think I'll be the one saying I'm not going to make it to pay day soon and I don't get paid until 12 March! That feels like ages!

I've been doing that with my bit of birthday money too, the rest of it may see me through to payday, but then I 'owe' myself money for treats! Sigh.

Wooo for the gypsy pampering!!! Bring it on!! :D

Oh, hopeless! And the facemask has brought me out in spots today! Never mind will do the reviews today and quickly unpack before OH comes later on, onward and upward! And I love the little catty :)

  • Did ayone see the Gypsy Weddings by the way? I felt sorry for the last girl, she didn't seem to want to get married but felt she had to because she was so 'old' at 22!

  • Augh, just been having a little surf on rightmove, seen a lovely little cottage in a neighbouring village just gone up to let, fully furnished and really nice, with original features and a 'cottage style' garden. Bit out of our price range though, should never have looked :(

Sounds lovely Tete, but it's too early to look and get your hopes up so stay off Right Move!

I watched My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, it was amazing! Those dresses! There's a chat on the weddings board about it and apparently they cost about £15-25k! Insane! I really sorry for Joan, poor thing looked really terrified and her groom looked horrid, they'd only met a few times hadn't they? And he was yawning at the altar! How awful to feel pressured into marriage at 22 because you're 'too old'!

I've just been discussing this with my boss and she reckons there's a business opportunity there since so many venues don't want to hold Gyspy weddings, we're going to get a warehouse and specialise in them! With all disposable stuff so they can break as much as they want when they do start fighting!

  • I've sent you a OM CMD, got Dinah's 'I'm not showing anyone else in case they grab it' superstitions! It's about £150 pm over what we've previously been looking at though. Sigh.

It doesn't surprise me that they cost that much at all Birdie, all that fabric and squillions of diamantes won't come cheap, even though the overall effect is very, er, cheap hehe! Makes your hairband look like a bargain though! I didn't see him yawning at the altar, poor girl, and she was so pretty too.

Do you think they would want to get married in a warehouse? They seem to want the best of everything else, or is it a particularly nice warehouse? Or were you joking? :o
