wow all this talk of debt paying off and moving house!! wow guys its so exciting!
I do the saving rounding down thing too but recently I haven't been spending much so theres nothing to round down, after reading through this though I just went on my online banking and transferred £5 to savings, its a bit random my savings really, esp because I'm having to save in two places right now, but its all good! I am really saving to offset my student loan, for the future in general and for a house with the boy when we are ready!!
I remembered the other day that in summer I will be having my £250 uni house deposit coming back to me so I think that will go towards a holiday or something yey!!
Also girls -- get back on dooyoo! I want to rate you! I feel I only got into it when everyone else leftand I am getting a bit bored because I seem to just rate people way more than they rate me ! (lol dont think I'm a valued dooyoo community member!) but I got my first cheque the other day and now I am itching to earn another one! Get back on there and we can motivate each other yeah?

Oh no now I'm having dooyoo guilt!! I've been looking at kettles and toasters and things on Amazon though and there's so much we could get for 'free' if I could just get my finger out!
Flower wow, your savings are looking really healthy considering you only got DF at Christmas! Yay!
Ah CMD that sounds so romantic! IN a way I'd like us to be like that - sitting on banana crates watching the wall, but I think I'd get irratable quite quickly!
Poddle well done on the book sale - never lose faith eh?!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Honestly, Milly and Diamonds - can't you just have the same username for everything like I do?!
Good morning, happy happy payday!! I've already used my piggybanks to shift my Christmas savings over and do the 'loose change' thing for the first time - is it sad that I got so excited about moving £3.61 into 'savings'??
I'm going to the bank at lunchtime to try and pay off the OD - there's £335 on it at the minute and what I normally do to make payments is take the cash out then queue up to pay it in - so I can see it straightaway and am not waiting for it to move ... but have a sneaky inkling that my withdrawal limit might be £300, so might walk all the way to the other end of town to withdraw from the counterand see if they'll let me have a bit more...
I'm so excited, I love paydays - will be even more excited next month when its going towards the MOFWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Happy payday Tete! It's exciting to think your overdraft will be clear this afternoon!
I like the sound of the loose change savings, I'm going to set up a savings account and do that! Although I've been spending less so I might not have too much to round down every day, I'll probably get carried away and take too much and leave myself short!
I'm having Dooyoo guilt too! I keep thinking about it but then something else pops up and I forget about it! I'm kind of glad that it's not just me!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I know what you mean about not spending much, I'm thinking now that I''ve got it down to a xx.00 amount, if I take money out of the cashpoint and spend on that, I'll always be on a xx.00 amount and won't be able to round down! Not aiming to do too much spending on my card this month!
EDIT - Just done a bit of a search - I can withdraw £300 from the machine and £500 from the branch which is good, I should be able to sort my board today tooJust means a bit of trekking about at lunchtime, but hey I guess even that's calories burnt! Ah nothing can shake my good mood today!!
