I've found you tend to get better prices (about 3x better at least!) on the newer Cds and DVDs on Amazon, so its worth checking there too. But that does take a bit more effort since you have to send them out individually.

I'll check it out, I do like the idea of just sending them off and not worrying about it again though; it isn't that easy for me to get to the Post Office which is why I tend to stay away from Amazon and ebay. I'll definitely take the Amazon route if I'll get a lot more though! I have no idea how to sell on Amazon though!

Its really, really easy. A lot easier than ebay. You can list an item in under 1 min, no taking photos, all you do is describe the condition and set the price.

Oh, cool. Do you just list it at the price that the other sellers have it at?

I do yes, unless theirs is used and mines new, just be sure to always make sure yours is cheaper than amazon's price minus the postage cost.

Thanks for the tip Dinah, I'll have a look before doing anything ... mine are mostly quite obscure though and pretty old so I doubt I'll get much more to be honest and as Birdie says, it's nice and easy.

Did I mention that we'd got OH's Bro's GF a Plane Jane S&G giftset for xmas and I received a chilli grinder in return? Never again will I waste S&G on her!

:rotfl: Oh dear! I'm getting very broody in a housey kind of way though I have to say, wanting to get my own little nest and feather it with cutlery and tableware and such!

I annoyed OH when we were getting things for the flat because he wanted me to get useful things like furniture and plates and I kept turning up with pretty candles, cushions, a fancy fruit bowl and heart shaped spoons! I can't help being a girl and wanting useless yet pretty things!

OK, I've just searched for all my dooyoo items on Ciao and about two thirds of them are on there so I'm going to start uploading about 2 a day I think, as well as suggesting some of the others. Is anyone else still doing Ciao? Do you know whether it's worth reading and rating others, seems like such a chew on that site? I'll do some to be safe I think.

Now to have a look on Beauty Judge and see what they have on their books!

Lol I won't allow things for our house if they're not useful! People gave us their 'spare fondue set' and photo frames and the like, and they've gone straight in the car boot box! So far I have duvets and duvet covers, most of the stuff for the kitchen (need a toaster, cutlery, everyday china, kettle and utensils), need towels, have bathroom scales, have small appliances like microwave, iron and hoover... think I need to make a list!
