One of my employees, too has paid 2940.00! i am trying to find info on internet but barely any.
They have not gone bust, but hackney trading standards have hut them down temporarily it seems for not providing client what they promised.
Have filled the forms for him even though he did not pay with credit card.. his payment was via barclays connect visa debit, so reading above re; section 75 gives me hope.
My guy get a very decent pay , and have trained him to be a perfect trader...but it was lured by the sun's advert of more than 3000 a month and flexible work...Flexible work- they call work weekends and overnight!0 -
Can't accept he's even genuine with a Username such as Osama911. Reported it as offensive0

Check out the pathway website, It seems they have stopped signing people up now (thank god), Just hope I can get my money back!!0

Pathway is no longer. They ceased trading the week before last. Pathway were never a training company. They were a broker who arranged your training.
I work in the HGV training industry and these types of outfits give our industry a bad name. For those who paid by credit card, you may be able to get your money back.
I have started a website that cuts out the middleman. If you still want HGV training go to www . hgvlgvtraining.co.uk Here you can find an independent training company and go direct. Save time and money. We also have an advise page on www . hgvlgvtraining.co.uk explaining why you should not go with these and other brokers. It makes perfect sense to go direct to the people who will actually deliver your training.
Good luck!0 -
Sorry to hear you got burnt by Pathway. There are other brokers out there so be careful. Go to www . hgvlgvtraining.co.uk, find a local provider and go direct. Dont bother with a middleman.
Good luck!

Highway is actually a Broker. Be warned!!!!!!
There arent any national training companies out their. It is all doen at local level. Save time and money and go direct.0 -
The best advice for reclaiming your money from Pathway is to follow the following steps. Complete them all and if Pathway are guilty of dodgy dealings then all records will be held with the relevant authorities. Please pass on to anyone else who may have lost money.
1. Contact Hackney Trading Standards on 0208 356 4929 (press Option 2) – make sure you speak to someone and they have fully REGISTERED your complaint. Tell them how much you paid, when you paid and how long you have not been able to reach them. Do not let them fob you off onto Consumer Direct (we will do that next). Make sure they take your name and address and ask them to contact you in writing to confirm your complaint has been officially registered – make sure you are given a reference.
2. Do all the above but with Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06 – make sure your complaint is officially registered and you are given a reference.
3. Contac the ‘Non Urgent Police Enquiry Line’ on 0300 123 1212 – tell them you think you have been a victim of fraud / theft and register it. Make sure you get a reference too.
All this may well help future claims.
Has this company legitimately gone into administration? If so all of the above are irrelevent.0 -
Afraid the 'lator is correct, little chance if any of money back from a firm that has gone bump0

has this company definately gone bust?
my husband payed over £2500 to them and is still outstanding his class 1 and drivers essentials course.
we had lots of trouble with them the week leading upto the phones going off.
iv heard that hackney trading standards are looking into it and have put a hold on the business,
i today got a call from trading standards asking if my husband can give a statement about the whole thing. i am awaiting a call back from her and will post to let you all know whats going on.
apparently they are part of "pathways solutions limited"
