  • hi all. Just doing the end of the month shopping with OH's contribution. Going to add a bit more in from some of the money he owes me. Tough if he doesn't like it :D

Parents are coming down next week, they usually come down this time of year for a few days. Horrible timing with the hours I'm doing, plus I'm being observed in my teaching on Monday and the house needs a good clean over the weekend (as well as getting the ingredients and making sure my paperwork is A1 for the observer) so all in all not looking forward to Saturday to next Friday.

Had to do an observation today (change of role as me as the observer!) within a day centre. Never been to one before and the future of getting old is now very frightening :( The staff are amazing but some of the things they deal with definitely aren't.

Strange thoughts over the last 24 hours. If I'd have still been with my ex, we'd be celebrating 20 years together today  Very mixed feelings about the whole thing really.

Bunny, I wont be able to make it to Edinburgh hun. It would be around £90 on the train, plus hotel without even thinking about any spending money :(

Without going into too much detail, we found out today DH could soon be out of work, so cant spent big amounts on a night away unfortunately.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Ta hun, keep everything crossed for us. Not sure what we'll do if it does happen.
