Just joined Orange but no broadband!

I have just signed up a £30 contract with orange, I needed a new contract and only went with this one because of this offer with the free broadband! But I can't get broadband! Its not working, I was with wanadoo broadband until they disconnected me over a dispute, the geezer on the phone didn't even mention this and said it was all ok and connected and it isn't! What do I do, the people who ansa the phones are all foriegn and I can hardly understand them! just guess what they say!!

Presumably you will have to wait for your line to be ADSL activated.

You may know how it works but first your line needs to be ADSL enabled and then your particular account needs to be activated.

Like I said I am not stupid! it is all set up properly and the speedtouch icon at the bottom of the screen says disconnected, it just needs connecting from orange but they haven't done it yet!

I will go to anothe board and ask someone who knows about computers

I hope when you try another site you try a slightly different tact, one that involves some manners. :rotfl:

I hope you sort out your problem very soon.
