Cheapest sim card for calls for elderly parent
We're buying my aged dad a large button mobile phone for Christmas so that when he goes into respite care two or three times a year, he can call my mum without asking to use the care home phone. What's the cheapest way to buy a sim card for the phone (my brother is buying the phone and we're doing the sim card) just for calls, and just a few a year at that!

Hi bwhit,
We had a similar situation and we got a Tesco one for £5 which has £10 credit on it I think it's something like 10p a min for fav numbers and the coverage seems to be good as I believe its on O2 ???
I think they also double what you top up too although it's hardly used so not done that yet. It's not just about the money0 -

Low users are likely to be better off on the Tesco Lite Tariff http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/payasyougo.aspx?page=84
