Driving Experience Day
Hi All
I wondered if anybody could recommend a place that does driving experience days? I want to buy one for my partner for Xmas, he loves sports cars and has always said he would like to test drive some. We live in the North West but obviously would be willing to travel. I have seen a few online but thought it couldn't hurt to ask for any recommendations!
Thanks very much!

Thruxton Circuit near Andover has a wide selection with different cars etc
I have a days experience which my daughters got me for Fathers Day where I get to drive 4-5 different cars0 -
since your location is lancashire - then look at Three Sisters in Wigan - they do various driving days in different cars - from supercars (ferrari/lamboginie/aston martin) to sports cars, racecars and carts
also theres Oulton Park, just south of Warrington - they do several different packages mostly half days. with single seat race cars, a BMW M5 or caterham 7 (Oulton is a proper car racing circuit, while three sisters is a kart track)
further afield is Silverstone (nr Northhampton) have plenty of driving experiances.
nearly every racing circuit in the country does different driving experiances so google for Mallory Park, Thruxton, Croft and brands hatch - being obvious choices
have a look around the different sites - they all have sales on for booking before christmas
2009 wins: Signed Saxon CD, Solar Torch, Drumsticks, Priest Feast Tix, Watch, Hammerfest tix :beer:0 -

I went to three sisters as well for an experience day.
I was trained in a Mini Cooper S then a Formula Renault single seater.
It was similar to this one http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Product/Id/666/Name/Single_Seater_Experience_%28UK_Wide%29
but a lot cheaper through a special deal i saw on hotukdeals and quidco cashback.
Three sisters circuit was good, there is a cafe as well for non drivers.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
& Choo Choo for trains!!0 -
Actually, maybe this one was mine http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Product/Id/5276/Name/Single_Seater_Driving_Thrill_Special_Offer
or at least a hybrid as I was driving the Mini in training. or maybe the "instructor driven" bit meant the guy in the 1st mini at the head of the pack.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
