As in the link by Miro there are 2: The one on Burley Road behind the yorkshire TV and one on Woodhouse Moor on the A660. There are brown signs all around town directing you to these. Same info is here too: http://www.visitleeds.co.uk/festive-leeds/Festive-Travel.aspx

Lots of Leeds info on that site too! Have fun shopping!!

You can just park on the street anywhere around Burley Road etc (near Yorkshire TV but you can even drive a bit closer to Leeds than the TV studios and park on the road). In case you're worried about security I lived there until March this year and so was parked there every night for 4 years and never had my car touched. You can then either get a normal bus in or if you don't have much luggage you can walk in on Burley road in about 10 minutes!
  • Thanks everybody for your help - will certainly look into the train fares as you say because that price may have been for two, however I only have a little 1l car and we'd both get to Leeds and back for less than £30. It's such a shame because I'd love to get the train but it's just so much more expensive - no wonder no-one uses public transport!

If your going on a saturday, park at the Leeds Uni car park, at the very bottom, its about 1min walk to the LGI from there and 5 mins into the centre of Leeds.

You could try the car park outside the Harvester on Style Hill Way just across the road from Sainsbury's on the A6120 junction with the M1. You might get ticketed, but I've never had any problems parking there.

Or, if you drive a little way further down the A6120, just before you get to Crossgates, there are plenty of residential streets with unrestricted parking, you can park up there and get the train from Crossgates (10 minutes into Leeds)
