Hi have placed this in the freebie section because its 'free' to submit your information and its 'no rebate, no fee'
If like me you have been from job to job over the last 6 years, it might be worth your time to submit your infomation to the tax rebate company, the average rebate is £220!! Just for giving them an online application, now if like many people you are due a rebate they will take 40p out of every £1 you get back, so there is a price for the rebate, but they do all the work for you!
Did mine in about 15 mins and yes I am due a rebate, just how much I will have to wait and see.
Its in the freebie section because there is no upfront fee and they take the fee out of your rebate!
The following is from the website..........
Welcome to The Tax Refund Company

Not a daft question at all. I would expect it to be relevant only for employed people as self employed so their tax calculations each year anyway. Those on PAYE rely on their employers to do it correctly and there are several reasons why you can overpay under this system as an employee.0 -

I think you can actually send it to any tax office and it will be dealt with. I am sure when I sent one in for my mum the assessment came back from a different office as I wasn't sure where to send it but it was dealt with quite quickly.0 -

Alternatively I wrote a letter stating my circumstances and included the last 3 years P60's, and asked for a tax review, just received a small rebate and an adjustment (in my favour) to my tax codeHonorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts.
