3 contract poser ?

i have recently been made unemployed,and i am receiving jsa which is £64 per week.this will be used on my mortgage,and food,but will stil not cover those bills.i upgraded 3 months ago on a 18 month contract,and new phone which will kick in next month,but now i cannot afford to have this bill round my neck,whats my options

Sell the handset and use it towards paying off the entire contract.

Well the other option is just to not pay it and stick a PAYG SIM in the handset. Not really recommended, and 3 will send it to a debt collector pretty quick.

They couldn't care less if you have lost your job or not I'm afraid, that is not their problem. They also won't care if you pay off the contract in a lump sum. Eitherway, they are getting their money.
