My mum has asked for one of these for Christmas, she ideally would like a copier, scanner and printer all in one....
Is it possible to find one for under £100?

I've just posted a new thread about this not realising someone was already looking. I set my sights on £50 for one. I've seen plenty under £!00 though in ads in the paper. I believe it was a currys ad. I think you can definately do better than £100.0

It's the fact that my mum wants one with a copier and scanner as well and they tend to be above £50....
I have seen a HP one but I don't want to get her a HP as they go through ink like no tomorrow....0 -
I bought myself a Cannon MP640 after a lot of research and reading reviews etc. It cost me £145 from Office-etc https://www.office-etc.co.uk/easyorder.b2c/index?b2c=off&prdcod=CA-MP640BUN&gclid=CMSxobyLpp4CFRiX2AodH3DYlQ
I have just checked and they are still doing the same deal where you get the printer cable thrown in (not that you will need it unless you hard-wire to a PC in the future) and a spare black in cartridge (the big one).
It takes the individual colour ink tanks which works out cheaper in the long run (the first set is included) as you only replace what you have actually run out of. Also Cannon is well-known for being less pricey than others such as Lexmark and HP on new or refilled inks.
I found it easy to set up and have installed the printer driver software on 3 laptops and one desktop PC and all are working well wirelessly.
I am please with the print quality and overall very pleased with the printer.
I don't think you can get all of this (which seems to be what you are looking for) for much less money.0 -

Thanks, had a look at that one and it looks good...found it here also for a little bit cheaper obviously without the extras you mention so that might just be the one...

It looks like it ticks the boxes despite it's price it looks like it worth maybe paying the extra...0 -
Perhaps wait until you have a couple of possible options before choosing. Sometimes when people own a product they focus on the good points without mentioning other factors because it makes them feel they have got the best bang for the buck and their printer is the best. I for one do that all the time. I'm not saying jap200 is lying but you might find one that does tick all the boxes for a cheaper price .0

I see what your're saying but I've had a look around since that post and I think you can't get for one under £100 unless you want HP and ideally I don't if it's like mine....The one I posted under jap200 is the same model but for less money. Most of the printers around the £50 mark might be wireless but they are not an all in one which is what seems to be pushing the price up...
I'll wait for more answers yes but I think I realising that to get an all in one very cheap is unlikely now...0 -
I know what your saying i dont like my old hp psc either. I wasted half my ink printing test sheets. Anyway make sure you get the pros and cons of each printer you look at. And while your on your search if you spot a cheap wireless printer that fits my needs please post a link
