yeah surly we can all sign a petition asking for the bank bail-out money to be taken back? we could build a 100 new schools and hospitals with that money, i honestly dont know how the people that work for banks (at no matter which level) can sleep at night. Personally i think you are all scum and i would love to see you all thrown out on the street selling big issue magazine. If i worked for a bank, I would quit immediately, never mind banging on about chavs and wayne n collene wannabees, it is you that represents EVERYTHING that is wrong with the world, spiraling 3rd world debt for example. I shall make it my last dying wish that you all burn in hell for eternity.0

However, some of us like using DDs to pay bills and we are happy to take the discount as well. It is (to use an awful phrase) a win-win situation for us.0 -
It is obvious that Banks are the ultimate rulers, after all they have the money and even Judges need money.0

Mine came through before 8am this morning via email. Wonder if there was a leak somewhere!0 -
I wonder how many people now will take all their money out of the bank and use cash only.
Also how many will now look at accounts off shoreWow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted
I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p

How come nobody thought the first court's verdicts were bent and a result of Freemasons?
Lin
Because its all a ploy to make it look legit. If they said no from the outset, it would be too obvious. They all work together. Thats the point of the masons - a big boys club where the big fish can meet together under a guise to scratch each others backs. (I would know).0 -
So have not those who have been put on hold since 2007, now been, or are being, "discriminated" against?? Or will the greedy bankers - ( sorry - spelt that with a "B" !! ) - now start recuperating exercises against those they have already paid out to??
Good job that money is actually worthless eh??
I mean, when they run out, they just print more of it, even though there is nothing to back up the currency they are printing - so why not print a bit more - and give the people their own money back??
Put the banks out of business, insist on a fair weeks pay, at the end of the week, on Friday, IN A PAY PACKET - CASH !0 -
Is there an alternative to Banks to put your money? Why don't we all close our accounts and transfer elsewhere?Yellowlawn

Hear hear :TI'm absolutely appalled.
Human nature at its worst.
The behaviour of some people on here is disgusting.
Gloating and goading, trolling and general nastiness isn't pleasant. These are real people here. Most of which, through no fault of their own (yes, really), have been disadvantaged because of the high penalty fees.
No one is saying that fees shouldn't be charged. People are saying they should be fair.
To the smug people: remember - what goes around, comes around. You or someone you love could very well be in a similar situation to hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of people, one day. How would you feel about the unthoughtful comments made?
Too many people forget that there are real people behind the screenname. Real people, real circumstances. They come here for help, support, understanding. Not abuse, smugness and an holier-than-thou attitude.
That is all.0 -
I don't understand what all the fuss is about - this is EXCELLENT NEWS.
If the banks had lost they would have to make money other ways - for example by charging us all to have an account, use a cash machine, etc.
As it stands, people who are stupid enough to borrow money from their bank without first setting up the rights to borrow the money are paying all these fees for us.
I can't think of a better out come. Long live free banking for those who are sensible and have some common sense.0
