When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Never thought I would end up starting the thread!! But it has happened! At least I hope I haven't duped, it is early after all!
Good morning to everyone who follows, hugs to those who need them! Only one month til Christmas now!!!
I'm on A/L day so have more time to do a few things than usual so here is my list for the day

PS fingers crossed for the bank charges decision - whilst I don't hold out much hope of ever seeing my charges again - I so hope that somehow the decision means I can ask for them now!! (Or someone gives me them back - half the mess my finances were in were due to things being compounded by silly sneaky and not nice bank charges). Mornig All!!!
I am working from home today so must make sure I do a load of work and don't keep drifting on to here!! Lovely meal out last night paid for by work and they gave me a beautiful boquet of flowers (which are making my lounge smell lovely). Great company too.
Today I will:- Check banks/quidco/CC and spreadhseet
- Lunch and tea from stores
- no heating on whilst at home
- washing drying inside
- phone to see where the cot I ordered on 4 day delivery (8 days ago) is!?
- won't be a NSD as going out with friend for drink tonight. (non alcoholic of course) however, it will be LSD as we are both very MSE and make a round each last all night in our local!

I will test it on my husband later as he doesn't like bananas but has not tried it yet! I have made this regularly for work and they all like it including some non banana lovers! Have to say though it is much more like cake than bread! x Can give you the recipe later if you want it? xThank you to all posters:beer:0 -
