Hi all i am quite new to this i would love to no how do i get a thankyou sign when i thank someone as it says edit at the bottom and not a thumb am i making any sense please help me as loving all of this

Hi, welcome to the forums
I think you are trying to thank your own post! Your post has an edit button so you can go back and make changes to your message after you have posted it. But you are the only person who sees the edit button - everyone else sees a thanks button.
If you want to thank someone else's post, you click on their thanks button.
Hope that makes sense?
