Was thinking the same finatra, plus the same post been copied and pasted onto different posts!!

    Spam, spam, spam, spam!!!!

    Hi
I was only suggesting another solution, not spamming. There is a misconception that everyone just has to send template letters off and they will get paid and that is simply not the case and I know that from personal experience.

Hi Bostonboy - the main reason for this part of the forum though is to allow us all to give help & advice to each other so that we can reclaim ppi ourselves. Most people understand that the template letters are just for guidance & also most of the reclaim success stories are from people using them & not claim companies.
MSE is about giving the people power for themselves!
I personally spent about 4 hours every night for weeks reading the posts before I put in my claim but I think the tired mornings & price of a few stamps were well worth the thousands I would have had to give to a claims company

My claims were on a cc from 1987 & a loan from 1995 (the size of the payout was due to the many years of interest) & I believe not a single claims company would have touched these with a barge pole!
Proof in itself that doing your homework & believing in yourself is worth it's weight in gold

Hi Newkid - yes I won both of these easily with no hassle using the template letters as a guide. Am now going after a loan from 1990

My earliest was 1991 I think if I remember correctly... it was a bank though so they were under the old banking ombudsman rules.;)

Hi marshalka - mine is with a bank too (my own bank in fact) & is actually the first part (if you know what I mean) of the loan that I have already won on (the refinanced bit) so this should hopefully make my case stronger
