I presume the hire agreement you signed said you'd pay for any cleaning costs.

The only way to get out of this would be if you could prove that the cleaning costs incurred were due to the company's fault and not yours. Can't see how you're going to prove that, though, I'm afraid.

sorry you dont like our answers but the questions needed asking,

you have no choice but to pay because your friends were sick in the vehicle,

if it was possible to get transport there, then it would have been possible to arrange alternative transport back,

the fact that you took the outbound leg without complaint leaves you no room for manouvere.

I'm afraid to say 'pay up and look big'

  • The driver wouldnt pull over when asked, and wouldn't open the windows either till after one person was sick. The other girl then resorted to having to put herself out the window to not be sick because the driver wouldn't pull over.

Transport couldn't have been arranged with that short notice, some people had work to get too and some didn't have the funds etc.

They are trying to claim £75. Have had a letter from them stating that our complaint regarding the vehicle will be dealt with as a seperate matter and that they are going to take payment from my card on Dec 1st which I hadn't agreed too.

That'll be the last you hear from them!! I guarantee it. They haven't got a leg to stand on.
Would it not have been in the contract that they had to pay cleaning costs?

Not enough info from the OP , need to have a more descriptive fist post tbh.

Otherwise you sound like a typical brit p!ssed up in the limo and you made the mess...

A party and no drink was involved , pull the other one! :D

So basically the OP and there mates couldnt handle their drink at their chav party and are now desperate not to pay to clean their mess.

As if there's anything chavvy about birds going out in some old stretch limo and getting hammered...
