Hiya
has any one had any joy claiming back PPI from Yorkshire bank?
I used Martins letters and sent my claim over to Yorkshire in September.
Got a letter back stating it would take 4 weeks to look through my claim.
Wrote to FOS who said that they are now looking into this, but just wondred if anyone has had any sucess with them and how long it took from start to finish?:j

Sometimes it's simply not enough to use the template letters which can result in getting fobbed off by the banks - or maybe you just dont want the hassle!
I can recommend a company who will deal with this for you on a no win no fee basis. They don't charge any up-front fees either like many other companies do. I'm not sure if I can post their details on here but I can't recommend them highly enough. They have just reclaimed £14,006 of PPI for one client!!!!!!
Please PM me if you want their details.

I sent a letter to yorkshire bank for reclaiming about 5 months ago, they replied saying its being kept on file and on hold until the outcome from the courts etc. Which is today.
Mind you it was only around £150, which is quiet a small amount to what I think some people might want to claim back.Comping again0 -

mmm, I think that this is a delaying tatic from the bank. I called them today and they told me it would be at least another 4 weeks before they got round to looking at my claim and that a member of staff would be calling me?0

Hi there
Your welcome.;)
Yes I know what you mean, I'm sure though what goes round comes round, so now worries when it comes to PPI.
You too have a great weekend.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"

See the Loancheck / Solicitors thread & try again yourself, put the template letter into your own words & if you don't get a satisfactory answer, go to FOS.
It may take some time but have patience & persistance.0
