Frickin ESA screwup please help!

Ok, so i have been on esa all was well i had to send off my forms to the JC (the medical questionaire)

So, i booked an appt to drop the forms off at the Local JC and handed them in (as the postal strike was on etc)

I did all that payments were just fine (the papers were due Oct 14th I submitted the week prior) I got my oct 5th payment therefoew I was due one on the 19th..

Well i looked today (ive never checked before cause i guess i trust the govt HAHA yea i know!) and there as no payment received on the 19th!!

So now what the heck do i do! Ive had NO written corespondance saying why its been stopped. I mean the medical forms were completed and handed into a JC.

So what happens now Do i reclaim? If i go to the JC tomorrow will it be jsut a HUGE !!! hassle?

the appointment i made will be on the system right?? that i had an appt to hand in forms as i booked this over the phone?

Does anyone havea number i can contact first blimin thing in the morning?

I am uber stressed now as its RIGHT before xmas and i really need that money to pay bills, and for baby etc.

At the minute you seem to be assuming that it is to do with the ESA50 not being returned as 'you have had NO written correspondence saying why it has been stopped'.

If you have had any letters from them there will be a number to tele.

Well nasa i don't know why else its stopped..
ive not had a letter and im just going by ive been on for 13 weeks and its stopped without warning.....


either the JC didn't get my forms to them or... something about the 13 weeks?

I have heard of peoples ESA being stopped and them not being notified for upto 5 weeks which left virtually no time to appeal the decision.

My husbands ESA was stopped about the same time as yours and 4 weeks later a letter arrived saying he was no longer eligble for ESA and he must claim JSA with stage 4 kidney failure.

I had a problem with my payments early on when I was on ESA. I had a 6 month sicknote and they read it as 6 weeks but let me know at 8 weeks by not paying me any money. I did not receive a letter.
I phoned them as soon as I saw the mistake and was told the dont keep the sicknotes or scan them in they just take a note of the date on the system and they had made a mistake with mine. My welfare rights advisor picked another letter up off my doctor and faxed it over to them, I then had a letter and a giro payment to cover the week they missed.

Just call them up!

i called its on the clerical system so i need to wait 3 hours for a call......

no reason why she JC lady cant tell me. Frick!!!! they claim they called me on the 27th but no answering machine message no record on my caller id

They don't leave any messages on answering machines and generally it would come through as a withheld number.

WELL, the office that is on my letters... .as i was rudely told today isn't the office that is dealing with it..So i called another office. the lady put me on hold as she spoke to clerical and came back apologized and said their error very sorry money will be with you at 5pm
