Pardon me for being a little dense here, but I have just been setting my monitor up but got a bit stuck with the tariffs. I am on a Tier1 DD tariff which is 18.879 and 10.152. When I tried to enter these figures, I found you can only enter whole numbers and how do you know when the second tier kicks in? Or am I doing something completely wrong?
if you tell us your prices, units in each band, discounts and annual consumption I'm sure someone will work it out for you.0 -
Thanks, I think I'll leave it as it is, I just put the first figure in, at least it will give me an idea. Thanks for your help.0

Received my monitor and set it up and I don't think its giving me a correct reading?
I am on Click Energy 5 so I have inputted £0.09 into Tier 1 and left Tier 2 as £0.00 and it is saying I am using £0.13 per hour, which I don't think is correct.0 -
Where do you get the rate of £0.09 from?0
-
So you are using around 1.4Kwh, is that right? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

It won't take two rates, unless you have economy 7.
IIWY put in 10p and it will be about right, or divide your last bill by the units used and use that figure. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Well, so far so good. Got my email reminder to enter my meter readings. Got a confirmation that they had received them, now waiting for the online bill next week.:j0

I had a look on my last bill and the rates are as follows:
First 115 kWh x 23.366p
Next 1358 kWh x 9.384p
Have I inputted an incorrect Tier price?
The first 500Kw per year are charged at 23.366 so subtract that from the tier two rate of 9.384 and then multiply that by 500 and devide by 365 days per year. This will give you your actual daily standing charge.
23.266 - 9.384 x 500 / 365 = 19p per day standing charge.
just set your tariff to 9p or 10p and add 19p to find your daily cost of electicity.0
