Change of price plan

I had 2 18 month contracts with Tmobile at £5 per phone per month.
Phone is now not working, i called Tmobile to find out the problem and apparently i owe them £64.xx, when asked where they got this figure and explained my price plan they advised that my 18 month period has ended so they have been charging me £32.xx per month(total)
They did not inform me of my contract coming to an end and say it is my responsibility to ring them if i want it to carry on. Surely from their point of view if it is my responsibility to ring them to carry it on then i mustn't have wanted it to carry on and should've stopped it at 18 months. It cant be legal for them to just change the payments without notice can it?

Actually, they did inform you, it would have been in your contract when you signed it 18 months ago, that the contract would become 30 day rolling and that it requires 30 days notice to cancel.

The only point i would want other to bring up, is that your price plan, price per month increased. i am not sure about this as you had not agreed to increasing your price plan.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies
  • Thats fine, i dont mind paying the £20 i owe them for the 2 months but nobody informed me of the price increase.
  • Can they change the price without notice??
  • it sounds like they had some sort of line rental discount when these are given as a renewal offer they automaticly get removed after the contract period is up
