  • I went to my local branch in Widnes, and they had a sign on display near the section that sold the vouchers which clearly stated that they were £20 for two £15 ones.

At least these will come in handy when buying apps for my new iPod Touch that I'm hoping to buy for Xmas...
  • My local Morrisons had loads of vouchers & the sign, obviously no restrictions as I bought 14 for various friends
  • got 2 at lunchtime in gorleston, no sign but when she scanned them the offer came of automatically!

    my sis will be chuffed

I haven't spotted a sign in my local one but picked two up. SA said it was only the xmas ones BUT she went to check then came back (with my non-
xmas ones) and said it applied to all...
(just nipped there having received the e mail:D)

    Many thanks!

I've just bought 2 cards but the checkout girl only scanned them. Does this mean they are not activated? I even asked her if they were activated and she said yes.
  • I just bought 4 x £15 cards for £40 from Morrisons store in Camden/Chalk Farm farm in London. In this Morrisons there were 2 types of iTunes cards valued at £15. One is a dark olive green plastic card on a white card background. I took 2 of these cards to customer services to see if they could check on the discount before I went to purchase. The Services assistant new straight away that I had the wrong cards. She said those particular ones when scanned do not show the discount and would be charged full price. She scanned them in front of me and she was correct. No discount was shown. However she produced another styled £15 card which she said would scan correctly showing the discount. This iTunes card was almost a lime green coloured plastic card with an image of a person coloured all in red dancing with a white ipod in their hands. This lime green plastic card is on a lime green card background. When you scan 2 of these together you do see a £10 discount. So I bought 4 for £40. No restrictions on purchases was mentioned.

This Morrisons at lunchtime today had about a dozen of these cards left. It also had several of the olive green plastic cards that apparently do not carry the discount. There were no instore diplay ads that I saw and I was looking out for them. Be careful to choose the correct ones to save any misunderstandings at the checkout. If in doubt check with the store before purchasing.

    Enjoy!

just out of interest the ones I bought were the lime green red person ones. They also had white/silver xmassy ones which apparently should work.

Poster who is worried about activating - to activate them they are supposed to be swiped though a reader and mine have had the card folded to allow this, in addition to being scanned.

Maybe someone knows how you can 'check' them?
(Mine are gifts so I don't know how to do that...)

Looks like am going to have to go back to the store tomorrow. She definitely only scanned. I do not want to try to redeem them on my iTunes account as they are gifts. Grrrrrr!

Have just read about the offer so shot down to the local ( Devizes) they had loads of both styles, I asked if the xmas looking one was in the offer and it was. It looks like it is hit and miss as to where this offer works.
