    Lol Humpy!

I'm in the same boat as you. I have a N82 with Orange too. I did also think about an N900 and yes I could wait for a while but then I could always be waiting for something newer to come out.

I was wondering though........if I go for the HD2 now could it be 'flashed' or changed to the Android system later? If the HD2 is to come out as Android too and that's the only sticking point to go with a Hero. Mmmm I'll start digging around but if anyone has info please post
  • @ mrp21: yeah, its the first time i've opted to hang onto a phone though i'm going to wait a bit longer to see what happens... Google: HTC Bravo due 2010 Q1... plus the cost of other phones will come down after xmas.

I don't think that you'll be able to flash the HD2, someone would have to rewrite all the code for the chipset etc... Just wait for the HTC Bravo...

agree with humpy - the Bravo looks like the killer HTC phone for 2010...

1Ghz processor, 320 RAM, latest Android OS (2.1) in the Sense UI, 3.7 AMOLED screen, 5MP camera with auto focus and flash, 720p HD video recording, plenty of storage...

Get the Hero on a 12 month contract and wait for its successor. The hero is technically almost as good as the HD2 but has android (with android 2.1 operating system out in a few weeks - which will blow windows and apple away) and doesn't look like a massive brick (the HD2 is huge!!!!)

Don't worry about the iPhone - both these HTCs are miles better and lot cheaper!!!

I use a Hero too. Most of the apps are free (unlike apple store).

Very configurable. Just replaced my N82 with it (fed up with those silly rice grain buttons).
