My son has had his N97 for about 3-4 months and the slider that unlocks and locks the keypad has broken. I was just wondering if it is something that vodafone will repair as the phone is new or if nokia will.
Have tried to get on the nokia website to search for local repairers but it seems broken and wont let me.
dont want to have to fork out lots of money to have to repair it.
thanks

Whenever I've had a broken phone that's on contract and under 12 months old I have just rang CS of the mobile network and they have arranged replacement by courier to my door (Virgin, T Mobile & O2).

Depends if it's broken because it's faulty or if it was damaged, either accidentally or purposefully. If it's faulty then it will be repaired under warranty and you should speak to whoever you bought it from. If it's been damaged then you'll probably have to pay for the repairs0
