Unfortunately the bank charges decision tomorrow isn't about whether or not they are fair, it is to decide whether the OFT can assess them for fairness. This is just the appeal following the previous decision (which agreed the OFT could assess them....hence the banks appealing).

So charges claims are likely to remain on hold even when the decision is given, as until the OFT has assessed them and given their decision, there will be no reason for the banks to want to (or need to) pay out.

The good news is that the OFT have hinted that they feel the charges ARE unfair...which is a good sign, providing the decision isn't in favour of the banks.

Hardship claims are still being processed in the meantime, but standard cases will remain on hold for now.

Feeling a little better thanks sweetie, have a very horrible cough which is driving me nuts but definitely on the mend.

Well, the quote letter from DSA says I can change things, so if I get it, I'll be bloody telling them I don't want their anti-virus, and I'll install my own. And I don't want them getting their grubby mitts on my Mac before I unbox it, if the seal's broken for any reason than one I've been told, they can bring me a bloody sealed one!

Sally-Bournemouth airport currently reporting 32kts.....approx 36mph windspeed.Pretty windy, same here at Gatwick....DH will be landing in the morning so hope its calmed down then!
PAP-you're right about DHL-I ordered a mosaic for the bottom of our shower earlier in the yeat.Delivered fine then a letter from them 2 weeks later saying 35 quid owing.....

Beanie, I used to make up little festive baskets for the village oldies, with a couple of small (think airline size)bottles of wine, maybe a red,a white and a fizz, along with a small size Xmas pud, garnished with walnuts/tangerines etc...cover with a nice cellophane n ribbon, and voila! Always very popular..
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
