Contract Ending

Hi,
My U-Fix £15 contract is ending in mid July. I know that I'm going to move to a new one.

When should I take out the new contract I am wanting, I will want to keep my current number so should I try to get the change overlapping so that I don't lose my number for any time.

I've never had a contract before so I am hoping for advice on how to time things. I don't want to open the new contract too soon and find I'm unnecessarily paying for two contracts when I'm only using one.

Thanks
Satkin2

    No,
I would be transfering to a different network, that's why I was thinking about timings, when I caried my payg number to this contract I had a dummy number for a few days. I'd like to avoid this if possible, hence me mentioning an overlap.
