Does the turbo sim card really unlock all phones?

I have just seen about turbo sim cards and it sounds like a really easy way of unlocking phones that cannot be done online for free. So yes does it really work on all phones. Especially can you use it on a 3 network phone to use the other networks. I take it that it would not work the other way round to allow you to use a normal phone on a 3 network.

Well,it unlocked my BT Nokia 3163 which is unlockable either online or in shops using a cable.Cost me £10!

Yes it does, this unlocks all phones to all networks, amazing little device if you ask me!

Is this the little device you put your sim into?

If it is, it works not by unlocking the phone but fooling the phone to think the sim card is the type the phone is expecting 3/02/Orange etc. So an Orange sim is an Orange sim, but the phone thinks it is of the right type to use the phone.

Well not quite all devices - it won't allow you to put a 3G card into a 2G phone.
