Nokia payg phone advice/recommendation
Hello
I posted originally in the phone unlock thread but thought a topic would be more appropriate. I hope i haven't infringed on any rules.
I live in Ireland but will be in the uk for the next few days. I'm looking for a cheap (under 60 pound) nokia payg phone that runs java at a decent speed. I'd like to also be able to unlock the phone from online codes if possible but would be fine with stall/dodgy shop unlocking it.
I'm not a phone person,i don't need anything fancy just java for an app and for ringing so the cheaper the better
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I understand the phones they sell are generally unlocked. You can check at the time of purchase but I would phrase the question as "I will need to use another SIM when I'm in Ireland" rather than, as I understand your intention, a few days use in the UK then taking the phone to Ireland more or less for good.
I can't help on the other aspect of your question but a Nokia I bought a few weeks back from CPW came unlocked.0 -
thanks for the reply tbh im in uk once every two weeks it seems so it wouldnt be half a lie to say i need it for here too. Could you tell me what model you bought?0
