BTW tip for windows... melt foxes glazier boiled sweets gently and pour into the "holes"(can also be used to make icicles etc
)

Well according to the Good Housekeeping magazine... you crush them and put them in a home made tin foil cup
Then make a pinch one end to form a spout. Place mint thingies in the cup and put in the oven on top of a baking sheet lines with parchment and leave in for about 20 mins (oven should be 180 or 160 for fan) once the syrup is just starting to bubble round the edges it's ready

Here it is MrsTine with assembly instructions too! I have just tried a tree and tastes delicious! Didn't have any cinamon though so substituted with mixed spice and is fine.

It's currently assembled and setting ready for decoration in the morning! Just hope it makes it to scotland in 1 piece as really want my nephews to see it as it should be rather than loads of bits!0 -

BTW you can also make coloured window panes using the cheap fruit boiled sweets from say AsdaIf you don't want mint or see through ones that is
