Chocolate truffles help

Every christmas I make lots of truffles but have managed to lose the recipe. All I can remember is it was a Good Food recipe and consists of chocolate and cream, oh and Baileys, but cant remember the quantities. Can anybody help?

Hi, there's a recipe for fresh cream brandy truffles from good food which says can substitute with alchohol of choice. 150g of chocolate min 70% cocoa, 200ml fresh whipping cream, 3tsp brandy or alchohol of choice.
Chop the chocolate into small chunks,Heat the cream to a rolling boil and then pour over the chocolate and stir, add the alchohol 1tsp at a time to taste. Leave in the fridge for a minumum if 1 hour and then shape into balls. Leave in fridge again for 15 mins before rolling in cocoa powder. Will keep for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
  • That is the one! Thanks ever so much for that. Now I can start making them. Yum yum! thanks again

It's a continuous boil where the liquid is bubbling constantly and consistently at the same rate not just when you get the first few bubbles but when they're there all the time.

I'm looking for a cheapish foolproof truffle recipe. Looked online and they ask for fancy ingredients or use food processors etc.I dont want to buy any fancy equipment and am looking for something equivalent to the idiot proof cheese sace I found on here which for a newbie has worked perfectly every time.Looking for one that I can adapt and use different toppings for.

What's wrong with the recipe above? Chocolate, cream and alcohol (or flavouring)? Only need a knife and a saucepan!
