Wow, I thought we did well this year (earn similar wages to you n yours) but that is truely amazing!! Well done.

Now, I need some help...do you have any slow cooker receipies? (worked out mine costs less than one unit (0.97 to be exact!) to run on medium for the day.

Well done on asking santa for a monitor it certainly is an eye opener, the only thing I wont test is the useage on the lap top:rotfl:

I dare you! I bet you'll be pleased. ;) I discovered you get much more for your bucks on a lappy than you do on the pc but even the pc was not the horror that I thought it was.
The steam generator iron was, tho. I have more of an incentive to rush the job now. In fact, anything that heats up is a bit of a leccie gobbler. :(

I've had to stop blaming the kids on their games consoles now after discovering the problem wasn't lying with them. So annoying. :p

WELL DONE on that mortgage weezl. :T:T:j

Hi juicygirl, warning, the 50p thread was very long! Don't get lost forever! I tried to index the recipes to save people having to trawl back through pages of chit-chat :)

Thanks for all the lovely congrats. Knithappens I'll be interested to know what you decide about extra work, and how it fits with the kids :)

TPA, I know you were joking, but as a matter of interest, how bad was the hoover for energy usage?

cinny and tiddles thanks for your good wishes :)
