Dont slap me for this...but I suggest its because you are angry at him for not getting another job, so you are finding it hard to find something that he will like and that you feel he deserves...its incredibly difficult to buy for someone who you dont feel you 'should' be buying for if that makes sense

I'm having a similar problem Sal. I could spend a fortune on DD, but DS is really hard to buy for

Me and DH never buy for each other anyway .

You are def right in that sense Becky...also he is the hardest person in the world to buy for. Well that and the fact he would have DVD after DVD, Computer games, motorbike things and I refuse to waste money on things like that. God im a !!!!!!

But I thought for me sufferers keeping warm was really important Ames?? So therefore it would be a 'valid' use of benefits even if things were that black and white and simple (which of course they arent)

There is a large difference between a valid use of benefits, and a prescribed use of benefits.

Me and OH dont either spud - we 'do' something instead - perhaps that would be an option Sally? Or a present that B chose?

OMG just realised I have to cook my first every xmas dinner this year am excited and scared in equal measure, but at least if it goes wrong there's plenty of places to eat around here that dont celebrate xmas :D

Thats sort of what I was trying to say...it all goes into the pot of money you have available at the end of the day for whatever you need...
