I've written to their Customer Services dept now as I was misquoted by £100 the price of a Sky+ box. Apparently all calls are recorded so once they listen to it they can see that the sales advisor did mis-quote and they should let me have it at that price.

    Fingers crossed....

Very similar thing happened to me, they seem to get confused between offers for new and existing customers easily.

Well he knew I was an existing customer as he was busy accessing my records as we spoke and he had my mobile no up on the system. I'm not trying to get something Im not entitled to (well....maybe a little bit) but I think they should train their staff to at least know what they are talking about.

Anyway...the way they treat their existing customers is shiite.

BTW....what happened with you - did they sort it to your satisfaction?
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

I love butternut squash risotto, preferably with a bit of blue cheese in. I have never put sage or chilli in, although I do have a sage plant in my herb garden and chillis in the fridge.

might raid your herb garden for the sage and your fridge for the chilli:cool:

Have decided on pasta bake for dinner tonight, chicken paprika and mashed potato tomorrow and butternut squash risotto on Wednesday. I'm not a fan of blue cheese... but i love it in brocolli and cauliflower soup.

Right, piccolina is being a right little pickle - she's learnt to blow big wet raspberries when her food has just entered her mouth! I look really good with mashed peas/carrots in my hair. Off ot do her dessert (think it will be apple and raspberry crumble)!

My bum hurts! I've been sat down for *checks clock* just over six hours watching 3 DVD's I needed to watch for uni. Only 1 DVD and 3 books to go for that course, then I have to read Bleak House, start Frankenstein and try and do the course reading...

  • I really shouldn't have slept for most of the day. I know I won't sleep tonight now. And there's still loads I need to get done. Little things though, so I'm fairly confident I'll finish them.

Now I've just got to work out what to have for dinner. I wish I could cook properly the way you guys can. The most fancy thing I seem to be able to manage is a Quorn korma (with store-bought sauce).

Why is it that when you are looking for research articles and papers for a University assignment, each article/paper leads you onto another dozen articles/papers

Thats because otherwise it would be plagiarism :rotfl::rotfl:

Elfen - bleak house is one of my favourite books - the tv adaptation a while back was true to it though if you cant finish it all in time ;)

You'd be more than welcome Cat, although the herb garden looks a little 'weathered' right now! :rotfl:
