    Good luck getting ready :)

If you are still struggling finding creditors, you could check your credit file too.

Hope it all works out for you :)

    Hi,

    Well done for arranging DMP.

I was wondering though, how come none of your creditors "hassled" you for the last 18 months whilst you haven't been paying.
Did you get any DCA on your doorstep or harassing phonecalls?

Well - first of all none of my creditors had my phone number.
Secondly, I live in a flat with an intercom and nobody lets anyone in unless they call specifically for their flat so even if someone has tried to contact me in person......Only one tried though and sent me a letter saying "As we were unable to enter the premises...."....

Ok- looks I am back on BR route......

Number crounching over the past few days and I can NOT pay £811 per month, no matter what.

Could someone please look at my SOA that was done for me by CCCS for the DMP (where the surplus came to massive £811) and give me few pointers as to what this SOA for BR could be as BR seems to have a higher "allowances"....

This is the SOA that CCCS proposed for me:

Number of adults 2 (daughter is a student at Uni, living at home, no income apart from student loan which is a LOAN)
    Monthly Income £2,323.00 (just mine)

    Rent £ 436.00
    Council Tax £ 96.00
    Gas £ 80.00
    Electric £ 50.00
    TV/Mobile/Internet £ 65.00
    TV License £ 12.00
    SKY £ 25.00
    Public Transport £ 100.00
    Food/Toiletries/Cleaning £ 313.00
    Meals at Work £ 50.00
    Pets/Pet Food/Insurance £ 25.00
    Tobacco £ 150.00
    Medicine/Prescriptions £ 10.00
    Dentist/Opticians £ 10.00
    Hairdressing £ 18.00
    Laundry/Dry Cleaning £ 25.00
    Clothing/Footwear £ 22.00
    Sports/Hobbies/Entertainement £ 15.00
    Sundries/Emergencies £ 10.00
    Total Expenses £1,512.00

    Surplus £ 811.00

    Thanks a lot

    Thanks a lot

I suspect the OR will want to see your DD pay towards some housekeeping. Sorry I think you will be better off in a DMP.

GO here and do another SOA, when trying to quote on the present one, the font is all over the place.

Tigerfood - as always, priceless reply (and the speed), thanks a lot.

So, according to your figures above:

    Number of adults 2
    Monthly Income
    £2,323.00

    Rent £ 436.00
    Council Tax £ 96.00
    Gas £ 80.00
    Electric £ 50.00
    TV/Mobile/Internet £ 65.00
    TV License £ 12.00
    SKY
    Public Transport £ 100.00
    Food/Toiletries/Cleaning £ 400.00
    Meals at Work
    Pets/Pet Food/Insurance £ 25.00
    Tobacco
    Medicine/Prescriptions £ 10.00
    Dentist/Opticians £ 10.00
    Hairdressing £ 10.00
    Laundry/Dry Cleaning £ 10.00
    Clothing/Footwear £ 50.00
    Sports/Hobbies/Entertainement
    Sundries/Emergencies
    Holiday £ 25.00
    Total Expenses £1,379.00

    Surplus £ 944.00
    70% £ 660.80

And that for 3 years - that looks better than £811 for 4-5 years (or more as all depends on the intereste being frozen or not...)

Hmmmmm - will talk to CCCS about the BR route in my situation.

Thanks a lot for yoru help, very much appreciated.
