Hi Everyone,
Okay, I am trying to go more natural. I use hair removal cream on my armpits. I am trying to find an alternative.
Has anyone tried out any of these recipes? http://woundcaresociety.org/how-to-remove-armpit-hair-permanently-at-home
I am particularly interested in turmeric paste and honey lemon hair remover.0 -

This is a very late reply but have you looked into sugaring? It's kind of like waxing where it pulls the hair out. You can find tutorials on youtube and it is a great method, if a little painful but if youre ok with the pain you should give it a go!0 -

I am too much of a coward, definitely no pain. I have bought the honey and lemon juice, but haven't tried it yet.0 -
There are lots of natural oils you can use for beauty treatments: coconut for hair, hemp for skin, jojoba for hair. I normally only buy a few oils as beauty treatments, as I don't see the need for making complicated recipes when oils are so effective, inexpensive and quick.
Anyway I think the single beauty care change that made the most difference in terms of money saving and avoiding chemicals for me was sugar wax instead of regular wax. You can make loads just with a bit of sugar and lemon. It can be hard to make at first but there are lots of video on the internet to help.
By the way I write about Indian beauty remedies on my website TheIndianRose, I have recently started it so there isn't much yet but you might find it interesting! I try to write about natural, cheap and easy to make beauty treatments!0
