Cheapest Sony Ericsson W995 Not on Contract

I'm on o2 simplicity 12 month contract and want a W995. Anyone know where I can get this phone not on contract, new. Don't mind if I need to take it to get it unlocked.

See it at Phones4U on Orange or Vodaphone for £199 plus £10 top up. These phones are unlocked, got them to try my o2 sim in it in store. Anyone know of anywhere any cheaper.

I have found a W995 in the carphonewarehouse for £299.95 on 02 on pay as you go. Just go on the carphonewarehouse online and go onto 'pay as you go' and then 'sony ericsson' on the left hand side and its near the bottom on the right. Sorry for no link, im a new member.

What - pay £100 extra?
The only place cheaper than £199 I know of is ebay and you don't wanna go there for second hand phone at that price.

Thanks for that, as I said I can get it cheaper from Phones4u on orange or vodaphone cheaper, and the phones are unlocked so will work on o2 sim. I would probably steer clear of Ebay.

I bought a w995 from Phones 4u and it is great. I hate the 'caudwell wannabe' former estate agent sales people in their flashback to the 80s shiny suits but no other option comes close in price. It comes with an 8gb memory card and really is unlocked and unbranded. I'm on Vodafone and the phone has done on air updates beautifully. You can walk in, pay the money and leave with a great phone.

As well as the excellent audio performance and headphones, the iPlayer support is awesome. You can watch all BBC TV channels live and stream old programmes, as well as listen and stream all BBC radio channels bar Five Live (due to rights issues) over wifi. You can also download both TV and radio programmes onto the phone over wifi to watch or listen to later when out and about. My kids love that for Charlie and Lola, and I quite like it for my stuff too. This support has blown me away. It is beautifully and simply implemented and gives access to a huge range of ever-changing, high quality and free material.

The push email works brilliantly with gmail - often my phone beeps to tell me I have an email before my computer receives it.

The phone also seems much more stable than many recent Sony Ericsson phones and the battery life is pretty good. Oh, and the phone seems very well made and comes with a two year manufacturer's warranty.

There's no w995 at Phones4U, well not PAYG at £199. Can anyone find me this phone for that price anywhere else, prefer on vodafone? Cheapest I see is £299.

Seen it guys on vodafone too which is that I wanted. Not in stock though, will try other branches.

Can someone confirm that it comes with an 8Gb memory card?
