Help!

I signed up for one of the cashback deals in December and the contract stated "Each claim is initiated by sending us your first four bills within 28 days of the date of the fourth bill and the next four bills within 28 days of the date of your eighth bill and last four bills within 21 days of the bill date of the twelfth bill... Bills received after the period specified will not qualify for line rental refunds or cash backs."

My fourth bill was dated 2 April and I sent the bills on 28 April by recorded first class delivery, but they didn't receive them until 2 May 2006. Buymobilephones.net are refusing to pay out, saying that these terms and conditions mean that they had to RECEIVE the bills within 28 days i.e. 30 April, not that I had to SEND them within 28 days. That's not my understanding of what the terms and conditions say, but they won't budge!

Have I got a case?
Also they have since changed their terms to 21 days and I don't have a hard copy of the original terms and conditions - will this be a problem in proving any case?
