Now if Honky Tonk man is included its 21

Or if you take out "The Beguiled" as its a civil war film set in a western backdrop, and take out his uncredited role, then its 18.

Beguiled is classed as a western in all the google searches of lists I have done today, the only one I have doubts is Honky Tonk and I have a feeling its included more than Beguiled not, i dont think they have made a mistake and I think 18 is not the answer.
    We need a Britquiz clarification
  • I think the key words here may be "starred in".

Now, if you take the original list of movies that has been posted here from the "Most Wanted Western Movies" site then you have a list of 20.

From that list I think you can discount the first - Star In The Dust - as he was uncredited and it can hardly be considered as "starred in". Appeared in, yes, but not starred. See here for a dictionary definition of starred and I'll think you'll agree.

As mentioned here previously, The Beguiled would be considered a Civil War film and by the website owner's omission is only included as it's in a Western backdrop. Therefore I consider this discounted.

I also don't think Honky Tonk Man can be included because, as Mick said, it's not a Western but a COUNTRY and Western movie which are two different things.

Therefore I think the answer is 18.

I have managed to find the last 11 questions (and answers) for the brit films quiz.

The thing is, if you click on them now, they have an end date of 23/12/2008 (I am assuming then change the end date and make it live).

They definitley are the right questions, as some of them relate to new films that were not out in 2008 ! And also the prize package relates to Avatar !

I have checked this over the last couple of days and they have worked (On the related days, the end date changed from 23/12/2008 to 23/12/2009, but the questions remained the same)

    So here you go....

    21 - http://www.britfilms.tv/index.php?id=9325 Answer ~ A Serious Man

    30 - http://www.britfilms.tv/index.php?id=9321 Answer ~

How odd! So you have to wait for the questions to go live before you answer them as the multiple choice answers aren't there until then. I guess that saves any more research on here! Thanks!
UPDATE: Just checked question 28 and there's no question!! So, those that are entering this competition it's worth checkiing again on that day to make sure that the question they set matches the answer. I agree with all your other answers zippie01 so thanks again!
