Arrrggggh! That actually makes sense - it seems i can't count, but 20 isn't an option unless you count Honky Tonk Man which "Clint Eastwood plays a would-be western singer named Red Stovall suffering from tuberculosis who is finally given an opportunity to make it big at the Grand Ole Opry" -

Now, that makes it 21 which is an option - so are they counting that? - this could be a western in the way that the wild bunch is, ie: post 19th Century but set in the back woods etc - so, I will have to change my plea to 21

i have to go to work now - shoppers dont drive themselves home, lucky for me - but someone could email them to clarify about Honky Tonk Man - I'd do it but i wont be home now until very late as drunken revellers don't drive themsleves home either whihc is good for all of us :T

I went through both lists and they agree 20 cowboy films/tv so I don't know whether to go with 21 or take one off as he plays the same charactor as he does in Rawhide - this is magnificent stranger

Back to Future is thanks so doesnt count, the original list I posted says 20 so its just if they class Honky Tonky as a western, some people do.

The one problem i have with that list though, is it lists "The Beguiled" as a Western, when its not. It may have a western backdrop, but its a civil war film. Even IMDB doesn't list it as a western.

I'm now in the process of finding reviews on all the films, to see if the same can be said of any of these other supposed westerns.
