Comet Edge Card mystery?
Comments
-
I used to work for a company that used the Edge card. When it was first setup they had all kinds of problems with people filling in the forms incorrectly or not filling them in at all. They had to be completely filled in at the time of purchase and had to be legable. If they weren't they were invalid and the company normally had to pay the credit company out of their own money.
Therefore they shouldn't chase you for the money, they will be chasing comet who will probably have already paid. If comet decide to chase for the agreement then legally you have no obligation to pay as you haven't signed anything, although morally obviously you might pay.
As another suggests a good idea would be to create a seperate savings account for it. But I'm pretty sure you've got this one for free!0 -
I already have the money and that why I called to pay it off! I've stuck it in a savings account but when I call to pay the balance again they say there is no record of me at all on the system. No name, no postcode....
guess ill just wait and see.... ;-)
Thanks for all the info folks0 -
