Good luck, I've been wanting to try this but I'm terrible and just end up going shopping probably due to lack of inspiration aswell as other household members moaning for something different instead of what is in.One day I might be more organised...........

OOh I love virtually nosing through other peoples cupbarods!
Heres some thoughts from me
Chicken thighs/ drumsticks, marinaded with th marinn from the fridge
served with roasted veg ( garlic, aubergine, carrots, tomatoes, snips pepper )
5 bean chilli with mushrooms, onion dried or canned beans, brown rice, using passata
Turkey rogan josh using stirfry strips, sauce, rice. Make your own naan and serve with rice & lime pickle
Make a pizza using the chorizo, mozzerella, mushrooms, red pepper.
Make a pasta sauce using the soft cheese, leeks and pasta ( you have loads!) and serve with grilled chicken
Pork chops, grill them and make a sauce with the condensed mushroom soup, serve with baby mixed veg & either roastie pots, or rice, or pasta!
Breaded cod, ovenmade HM chips, peas.
Easy dinner for a cant be bothered day of southernfried chicken, noodles or jacket pot or the waffles.
Quorn sausages, mash onion gravy, peas, carrots
Beef mince- Id use in turning into HM burgers served with wedges.
Id knock up some pasrty adn use the feta & spinach to make some HM pasties, good for with salad or jackets on hotter days
With the rest of the chorizo, and the eggs and potaotes onions etc, a spanish omelette, good for lunches
You seem to also have the basis for flapjacks- and pancakes with rasperries!

You are just like me !!!!!!!!!!
Why not stick your hand in a cupboard and pull out 5 items - then, in Ready Steady Cook fashion, make a meal out of those items using only things like butter, oil, herbs and dairy to put the whole thing together
You might come up with fantasticly weird creations
It might inspire you once you only have the 5 things, rather than a whole kitchen load of stuff
My list would look exactly like that if I did one0 -
Peach crumble with custard
Quorn sausage risotto with tomatoes
chicken and sweetcorn with pasta (make a simple cream sauce with cream and parmasan, plus a splash of white wine if you have some open)
Mix the condensed mushroom soup with a couple of eggs and pour into a pastry dish (or make your own if you are feeling really inspired) for an easy mushroom quiche - Scrummy - i used to make them all the time.
chicken with wild mushroom rice - fry chicken, pour on a glass of white wine (or small brandy) bubble, add single cream and serve on rice - YUMMMM
Any good ?0 -
I love chorizo chopped up with white beans (I usually use cannellini) and a splash of white wine. Let it cook for ages till the liquid is all orange and gloopy and then eat with crusty granary bread. This works better with the solid chorizo than the sliced one.0

This sounds sooo good, I'm off to put beans in to soak and I'll make it tomorrow. I brought back one of those dried sausages and white winefrom my holiday in France and I'll use those.:T

How about stuffed jacket potatoes? you can use anything to fill them but from the list try this - bake some potatoes in the oven until cooked, cut the mushrooms and pepper into chunks and fry in a little olive oil (optional-you could use raw). When cooked scoop the inside of the potatoes into a large bowl and mix with the mushrooms, pepper, chopped tomatoes (outside not the squidgy inners) and the soft cheese. The pile back into the potato skins, top with the cheddar and put back into the oven until the cheese is melted and everythings warm.
This is lovely comfort food - my bf's mums speciality. She normally uses bacon and spring onions aswell!
