And yes it is a con - every one of these vouchers needs more money to be spent on them. Except the haircut and mini manicure - which no-one can have anyway because they won't let you know where you have to go.

no its not a con! i had my hair done a few months back - it was at a Saks salon and it didn't cost me a penny If you call them they tell you where the nearest salon is - you give them your code on the voucher and they call you back... i was contacted by the salon within a day or two

the paintballing one does give a location - as my town was listed, so i ordered the mini beauty treatment one awell seeing as i was already paying postage - not sure how or where that works so was just going to call and find out hmmmmm

I have ordered 2 beauty treatments but not received them yet, surely when the gift arrives it will have instructions on how to redeem it. As you are buying a gift then surely you can give them as a gift?? afterall we have bought them from buyagift.com. Can anyone shed some light on this.

That would be good if they gave you a number to call them.
Glad you had yours ok. As another poster said though, some are using these as gifts, how can you arrange it when you dont know the recipient is free.
Anyway, how did you get on? was there any pressure to get you to pay for other services?

Also, as I previously posted, even though Buy and Gift website states that they have participating salons throughout uk and Ireland I rang hairgroup and they told me there are none within 100 miles of me (n Ireland) and suggested I contacted Buy a Gift for a refund (obviously this is not possible since they were free!!) and said they weren't responsible for what Buyagift say on their website about the products!! You would think that the two companies would have got together before running this promo to at least try to sing from the same sheet!

You could have checked on the hairgroup website before buying.
You put in the county and it gives you the towns where there are salons.

So when they say only 2 will be delivered, that's not true.

I put 3 orders in for a laugh as I wasn't bothered if I got 2 for each, ordered 5 deluxes make over and photoshoot, 10 hair cuts and 5 family portraits and I recieved the 5 deluxes makeover and the 10 hair cuts today just waiting on the potraits. See being cheeky does get you somewhere I'm defo sorted for crimbo now :cool:
