Anyone

Vanquis have again cocked up my DD, taking payment agin, but issuing me with a default, they refunded last months charge but never updated the CRA, now again they did the same, I’m showing TWO missed payments in a row, yet my DD was collected.
I complained to Vanquis and also asked them to listen into my phone calls where I asked them to confirm everything with my bank/direct debit details are showing correctly on their system.
I want to complain now to thefinancial committee, can anyway tell me what governing body I appeal too and also are there any template letters to follow?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Well. That is the type of response from a do gooder.

9 points in one hit is a bit over the top and the tread levels on the tyres had only just reached the minimum level. I was due to change them at the end of the month anyway. Just had to wait until payday.

Usually you complain to the Financial Ombudsman but you can only do that if you've exhausted Vanquis' own complaint procedures, which means having to do it all by writing and by the book.

Updating the CRA could take a few months. Setting the DD issue aside, try and get them to remove the markers from your file and refund any charges - making sure you've got this in writing. If you get this issue sorted, then you can continue to make payments manually until they resolve the DD issue.
