i remember readin this ages ago from a reputable site......allegedly 16-20 accounts on ure file is MOSTLY seen as normal anything else starts to pose questions an raise eyebrows etc.............

so i read anyway

I had a really good service, maybe 5-8days from application?

Apparently 5 is average.

16-20 is normal. Ouch, my 9 for a student is a bit much then, because I read somewhere 5 credit cards was seen as normal (1 for a student) so thought I was lucky getting 2 - Elky's got about 15,000 though so dunno!:p

nahhhhhhhh id say no way peeps have phone mobile and broadband couple of bank accounts credit cards catalogues a loan id say 5 is way off no offence.........

5 active cards not accounts - utilities don't count the same apparently, so o2/virgin etc go towards the 16 average, but 5 actual cards I think...
