Thats why I have kept the Step account, opened in 2003 so on applications my time with bank is 6 yrs plus. Opened Ad Gold last year which doesn't look as good if you put 1 year

They didn't give me a choice of moving or not (and back then I was about 13/14 so didn't care about credit cards/reports anyway!), they just moved it for me. But, like address, as long as it's above 3 I don't think they care too much.

I emailed HSD asking for my order to be sent to uni, they probably won't do it, but thought it was worth a shot!

I updated my "registered address" by accident, rather than adding a new one, I noticed and changed it back, but don't want this place appearing on credit report...I'm hoping because I changed it back so quickly it won't make a difference. I really shouldn't do shopping and my assignments at the same time!

Your first order with HSD must go to home address, only hope is that if a small package it will come by Royal Mail and not by Parcelnet in which case you will be ok if mail is being redirected.
Parcelnet will leave a card or drop in a safe place, neighbour, shed etc as they don't always need a signature.
Once first order received you can add any address for delivery :D

It's 2 pairs of jeans, so I'm not sure - I doubt it'll be RM, but I've had bigger packages sent via RM in the past so never know....

Some do, MBNA can be like that mate - yes... :D

    Oh no

I was going to apply for the MBNA Classic Mastercard next week but Co-op CC yesterday posted the first month's green zero/on time payment marker.

No Natwest don't do direct upgrades, neither do Barclays.

They only banks which i know do direct "upgrades" are Abbey, and HSBC.

Maybe I will try HSBC after christmas then ?

Bit worried about trying before as I now have 4 recorded searches in the last 3 months.

    Vanquis
JD williams x 2 (no idea why they searched twice as only applied once!)
Halifax - to try to upgrade account yet again

Although it does say 7 within 12 months but the other 3 are all from Credit Expert Report so not sure if these are counted as such ????

Do you think I should try now or wait till after Christmas now ?

:rotfl: Hahaha! I actually want that eventually! :p. Gotta stop being a student though, places don't seem to like that!

You'd be surprised who likes and doesn't like students.

Take me for example, I'm an unemployed student with 5 credit cards, 2 bank accounts, 4 savings accounts and a mobile contract.

Both of my bank accounts are eligible for an overdraft and one bank wanted to give me £3700. I royally hate overdrafts though, they don't benefit anyone but banks themselves.

It's all about how you manage your finances. ;)

    Dirty robbing ba*tards.

Could be worse though, could be £365 if it was HBOS. :p
