Thank you for the info, I have e-mailed them several times for an address but no reply. The box was thrown when it arrrived. I have recived e-mails from them every time they want to charge me £70 for carrige to return incorrect goods but no reply when asking where i can deliver them too. My company has offices in California & Boston & often end up in the states so i thought a more personnal visit would be in order.I don't want to spend more dosh with them after their atitude!

I am having a similar experience with www crazycameras co uk. Following an e-mail link on their support page the email address came up as being to support @ specialtysoftware co uk, same company?? Certainly same customer experience i.e. payment taken, no goods, waiting in shipping queue etc.

Payment was taken by a company called Best Priced Brands. Researching this company the same complaints are made by customers but at least they do say on their home page that goods are shipped from the USA.

I'm not holding out too much hope of getting my goods or a refund. Will be contacting Amex tomorrow to report a scam.

I have just ordered a Sony Reader from this company as it was brought up through a price comparison website which sort of validated the company as being sound it was only when the confirmation emails were flagged up as unsafe that I started a search which brought up this forum, has anyone apart from baligirl had their order satisfactorily completed.

Finally recived a refund for the difference between what I was charged & the wrong software that was sent! Its been a battle & I would not use them again! so ended up £ 70 out of pocket for software that i didn't order & its of no use to me! I had to accept losing £70 instead of £210! Taken nearly 3 months.
I would not recommend them under any circumstances!:mad:

It would appear that Specialtysoftware.co.uk are still up to the same games. I ordered £70 worth of goods. The money was taken & goods not dispatched. Following enquirers they said they were waiting for new supplies. I requested immediate dispatch or cancellation of the order & refund. I have been emailed that I will be refunded in 3 to 7 days. We will see. I would recommend no one uses them.

does anyone have a phone number for this specialtysoftware? I bought a microsoft project from them a couple of weeks ago and since then their website is unobtainable and I have not had anything delivered but the money has gone out of my bank!

Well yeah, it has been 5 months since this post was originally made, so I'd hope the Scammer would be gone by now....
