Do not buy in this tech website as it is a scam/fraud, they get the money from your card, but they do not deliver the goods. I have lost £430, tried to call them, sent emails, nothing, still waiting. DO NOT BUY anything here.

hmmm, a .co.uk company with a US / nevada address as their only contact address? kinda vaguely blatantly obvious to do a bit of checking b4 handing money over to a site like that....
Thanks for the reminder to all MSE members to engage half a braincell before engaging in business with sites they've not used before on the internet.0 -
The site is registered to a 'Kelly Trent' in Boston, U.S. and has no contact information other than an 0808 phone number. The 'Shipping Policies' page says:
All orders under 50£ will be charged a 10£ shipping fee.
It doesn't exactly scream .co.uk.0 -

I ordered a sony e book reader from this site on 30th Nov. I had confirmation e mail following day saying their rep would ring me to confirm shipping details within 48 hours. I received telephone call from a lady with a "american accent" on 3rd December confirming my details etc and that the item should be shipped within 48 hours. I asked where my item was being shipped from and she said "America". Checking my order details on line tonight noted my item still in shipping queue. I then had a live "chat" with an operative called Anna who said there was a high demand for the item and they were expecting further stock in next week. I dont have any problem talking to them but the question remains am I going to get my goods. I have told her that if they cannot give a definite shipping date at the beginning of next week then I want a refund. I cant find any other people on the net who have been conned by this company. Do we know for definite it a scam site and should I be contacting card company now. Help!!0

It may or may not be a scam but buying anything expensive from a non-EU source may involve you having to pay import duties, VAT, and a handling fee. Those fees usually go a long way towards wiping out any savings and may even exceeed them.0

It is not worth saving a few pounds on sites like this - it will cost you a lot more in reality ...
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED :eek:0 -
Having become paranoid on Thursday that my credit card scammed rang credit card company. Specialtysoftware.co.uk not on their warning list and no run on my credit card. Cancelled it to be on safe side. Yesterday got e mail saying item shipped via DHL. Went on DHL website and my package now got as far as East Midlands Airport - sent from Los Angeles. Maybe they not a scam after all??? Will further update when I receive the goods.0

I have just had a very bad experience with the abpove company as well. In fact ripped off!
I have just written to my credit card company with all the trials & tribulations!
I did not recive what i paid for! I got a version worth approx £120 less than i paid for & they won't consider a refund or change & they won't give me their address to return it too for a refund.
Lets see what the credit card company make of it all.
I wish i had reserached the company name before ordering!0 -
Well my e book reader arrived at the beginning of the week. It was a genuine sony article and the one I ordered. I got it for £25 less than UK. Despite all my reservations and worries I think I would order from them again.:j:beer:0
