  • Hey Ailsajayne29, Just been reading your diary, and i have to saying not sharing is great, its worth it, though it feels like i have no money left at the end of the month but i wouldnt change it for anything :)
  • wow ive just done the spending diary from my little notebook and ive spent £314.40 today :eek::eek: however £250 of that was the last of my rent to my old place so maybe not as bad? :o plus £28 was on my brother and his fiances christmas pressies.... and there was me thinking it wasnt a bad pay day!!

oh well.... i think that website has got to be one of the best things ive seen for making you really really see how much you are spending and on what!!!! My food budget is well over with £23 (so £8 over :() i didnt realise just how much id spent on lunch today! so many many thanks for recommending it to me!!! glad i didnt decide to treat myself to a chippy for tea :rotfl:

Think im gonna keep up with that one!! at least most of my major outgoings will go in one block this month! the months rent and another months rent for deposit are really gonna make that pie chart crazy  lol

on the horrible housemates front... i i didnt get my bath because someone has left the hot tap running to fill a bath they have still not used (its been sat full for two hours now!) so was relaxing in my room but now one of the others is playing his music so loud the pictures on my walls are vibrating and one of the other lads is upstairs jumping around so all i can hear is banging and my door is wobbling  and they dont see any problem with this despite the fact they know i get up for work at six am..... god i CANT wait to get out!!!! :rotfl:maybe i should write a book on horrible house shares... make some extra cash :rotfl:

Poor you ailsa, horrible noisey housemates will soon be a thing of the past though!!:j

Big spend today but hopefully the rest of the week will go better, it's inevitable if you gotta pay rent. I agree about the spending diary being a great tool. I use something similar on my phone and it really does help!! At least we can't deny where we are or where we're at financially if we keep it updated!! Well done us! :T
    A&L OD: £968.60 (18/11/09)

  • well im eagerly awaiting news of the bank charges thing... £2400 from halifax and £270 from lloyds.... that clear my od with halifax reducing my debt free date by THREE years and giving me about £470 i dont have which at the moment would be so so handy!!! so please god let this all be sorted and the money back in my accounts... before christmas! :-D

prob said all this already on here but im feeling the need to rant about it today!
  • Im absoultey gutted that the banks won... they've just been given license to do as they please for ever now and carry on treating people with money problems as lepers, Im so not happy at all right now :-(
  • well ontop of finding out i wont be getting any bank charges back ive had the crappiest day ever!!

Ive spent quite badly today.... got a tenner out and ended up buying fags and choc spending £7 :-( was so abd but i got myself into the most rubbish mood and just decided i needed choc etc.... was already annoyed then one of the girls walked out in the middle of a safety briefing i was giving today to answer her phone, she came to say sorry but in her typical im not sorry but im saying tone of voice the garage rang about her car. I pointed out that she prob shouldnt do that if anyone else was doing the talk and she kicked off, going on about how it was important.... i ended up in some stupid little argument about how they are a pre-requiste of our job and pointed out that she could actually have rang the garage back ten mins later... this all went on for a while and she stormed out slamming the door shoutingat least i f**king come to work...... I later found out thats in ref to the time ive had off sick on this project.... starting another big discussion where i explained to several people that ive only been ff sick for four days, once as directed by my dr... and that the rest of the time ive been off has been paid leave............ getting very fed up of them all to be honest, its been a difficult site and horrible weather and some people are getting laid off but thats how it goes if you are an archaeologist! :D and i just cant believe how she spoke to me.... i never would have spoken to ym supervisor like that.. and top it all of i asked our project manager to have a word and he did, but he had a word that looked like smiling and laughing.... so basically undermined me.............. proper fed up! I have def noticed that as well as an emotional eating problem i have an emotional spending problem too!! :o

but im off to see new moon tonight so that should cheer me up! esp as im using orange weds :D and am going to try to forget the fact that ive not heard from letting agents and the cr*ppy day ive had and the fact i think ive got a cold coming and feel so very tired and utterly rubbish and just try to enjoy my evening :D
