sub prime 5% cashback card

I may be cynical but something doesn't add up here. It's extremely generous terms for what is essentially a very sub prime product !
It's a discount that's all.
You need to look at the price PRE discount to see if it's worthwhile (and also if you shop at those retailers to get the discount).0 -
Just take the phone at £10 a month, spend £200 in participating retailers (easy if you do your weekly shopping in Sainsburys) and then you have free phone.
Be careful to add in all the costs though.
There is a membership fee each month for the service.
There will be a fee for the card each month and a top-up fee each time.
I'm not saying it's a bad deal, it might work out for some, but you need to be aware of all these costs when comparing it to more straighforwardly priced products.0 -
I wasnt intentionly misleading people, I highlighted what I thought was a pretty good card for people who struggle to get accepted. I would assume that before signing up for a deal, people would investigate further themselves? I dont think you need take all the utilities, I think you can take card alone, then the 'cashback' I think is then credited back onto card. If you think this card is good for you, take it, if you dont, try another thread.
I still think this is a very good extreme sub prime card0 -
Good post, maybe move your post on to the sub prime credit thread on this board, you will get a much more "positive" response.hungrynurse wrote: »I wasnt intentionly misleading people, I highlighted what I thought was a pretty good card for people who struggle to get accepted. Thanks for the link and for those of you who are adult enough to make your own decision in life.....choose to or choose not to sign up for the product.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
I'm not sure that's the case.I think you can take card alone, then the 'cashback' I think is then credited back onto card
but anyhow, I' just like to clarify I never said this was a scam or that the OP was miselading.
I think it's only right to point out the "issues" to people.
I have always said it might be a good deal for someone.
Don't knock "negativity" when it's intended to be helpful and balanced.
This companies pricing model is notoriously complicated (membership fees, card fees, loading fees etc), so it's not that easy for people to keep on top of it and not everyone wants to read pages and page of small print.0
